POSITIONS AVAILABLE


Network Administrator

The Network Administrator will be responsible for implementing and supporting Cisco LAN/WAN, VPN networks, and supports server, storage, and backup solutions for our customers, utilizing both physical and virtual server infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team to meet critical implementation deadlines and perform troubleshooting of complex networks. This position also installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.

Employment Type: This is a full-time position onsite at a customer in Bangor

Location: Bangor, Maine Area

Timeframe: Starting Immediately

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing, and supporting Cisco networks

• 3+ years of experience managing Server, NAS, SAN and backup technologies

• CCNA is desirable

• Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls

• Experience of Active Directory and Windows 2008/2012 Server administration

• Able to support complex networks

• Able to plan, design, implement, and support complex environments

• Able to design and implement security technologies such as Access Control Lists, RADIUS, IPSEC, IPS, etc.

• Experience with VMware virtual infrastructure setup and management

• Broad knowledge of different LAN and WAN technologies

• Able to create and maintain detailed network documentation

• Knowledge and experience with VoIP is a plus

• Strong personal and team communication skills

Network Engineer

Job Summary:

The Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting Cisco LAN/WAN and VPN networks and working to deliver superior customer support by performing consulting, solutions engineering and technical support. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team to meet critical implementation deadlines and perform troubleshooting of complex networks.

Employment Type: This is a full-time position.

Location: Based in the greater Portland, Maine Area

Time frame: Starting Immediately

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience building, managing, and supporting Cisco networks

  • CCNA, CCNP, and/or other Cisco certifications are highly desirable. Strong experience with Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco Nexus, Cisco stack switches, Meraki ecosystem, and Cisco ISR routers.

  • Experience with Network security technologies such as ISE, Sourcefire etc...

  • Experience utilizing routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and MPLS

  • Experience with the operation, security, troubleshooting and design of enterprise data networks

  • Solid understanding of QOS concepts, implementation, and support techniques

  • Able to design and implement security technologies such as Access Control Lists, RADIUS, IPSEC, IPS, etc.

  • Broad knowledge of different LAN and WAN technologies

  • Experience with wireless technologies, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, WAP configuration, 802.1x, site surveys, monitoring, and fault isolation preferred (Cisco CAPWAP wireless experience)

  • Solid understanding of Cisco best practices concerning voice and data networks

  • Able to create and maintain detailed network documentation

  • Knowledge of data protocols, IT architectures, networking standards and security best practices

  • Basic Windows and/or Linux skills are a plus

  • Knowledge and experience with VoIP is a plus

  • Strong personal and team communication skills
